Homework is anything that children do outside the normal school day that contributes to their learning following guidance from the school. We believe that homework should promote a positive link between home and school. Through homework, children can see first hand home and school working towards common and shared aims in their education.

Homework A work plan for each year group is listed below and each work plan includes an overview of tasks to complete and resources. Where resources are worksheet based, these should be copied out into the child’s exercise book.
Due to the recent Covid-19 school closures your children will be set work online. As this is home learning and not normal homework a new file has been made called Extra Home Learning. This can be found below and will provide work for all year groups.

A homework timetable is issued to parents and students at the start of the year, and all students have aplanner to help the record and organise their homework. The planner is also used as the home-school link book where parents and teachers can communicate with each other.
